A funny video has emerged of a hoard of cats waiting patiently at their owner's door to be fed, only to be rewarded with an empty Christmas plate.

The footage, filmed today in Limassol, Cyprus, shows the cat owner playing cruel but comical prank on the groups of cats.

The filmer later wrote online: "Trolling cats for Christmas... This is amazing!"
