DORSET, UNITED KINGDOM — Two people convicted in the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Phillip Nicholson in Dorset, England on May 26 were caught on CCTV luring the victim back to the apartment where the murder took place.

According to the BBC, Nicholson had a learning disability and followed the killers on the pretense of meeting a female friend. Nicholson's ex-girlfriend Isabella Gossling, 20, and her lover Richard Moors, 26, recorded the murder on Gossling's cell phone. That video was used as evidence in the trial.

They were also seen on CCTV footage released by the Dorset Police walking with the victim prior to the murder and 45 minutes later holding hands walking down the same street. Moors can then be seen in CCTV footage comforting Gossling on the bus after they killed Nicholson.

According to the Daily Mirror, once they reached Gossling's apartment, Gossling tried to get Nicholson to apologize for a sexual assault that never happened. Moors pleaded guilty in court to fatally stabbing Nicholson in the neck.

Gossling initially denied her involvement in the murder, saying there was nothing she could have done to prevent the stabbing. But the BBC reported that she can be heard on the recording telling Moors to "[G]o on. Do what you need to do."

The pair stole the equivalent of about $1,200 from Nicholson's bank account. Both Gossling and Moors will be sentenced for the crime on Monday.
