When I heard that Shia LaBeouf was setting up a call centre in Liverpool and inviting people to phone in and "touch his soul" along with two other collaborators , the main thing I had was questions: Why was he doing this? How do you even touch someone's soul? Why had he picked Liverpool of all places?I didn't think I'd have any chance whatsoever of getting through — there are probably thousands of fans out there who'd jump at the chance to hear LaBeouf's voice, let alone touch his soul — but I thought I'd give it a go anyway.I'm not going to bore you with a minute-by-minute break down of the 100+ phone calls I made (no one wants that), but I did manage to get through in the end.-Sam Haysom
