Dombivli bar girl's murder case cracked, forest officer's son arrested - Tv9 Gujarati

The police have cracked the murder case of a bar girl and arrested her live-in partner over a month after the crime. Jayesh Patil, the 24-year-old son of a forest officer, lived with Deepika Sikdar alias Priya, 24, in a rented flat in Davdi village in Dombivli. He wanted to marry her and had asked her to cut off ties with all other clients. On November 2, she received a call from a client. Irked, Patil had an argument with Priya, and stabbed her. Later in the night, he came to his senses, and called two friends. They arranged a car and helped take the body to the Bhimashankar forest in Karjat about 65km away. Patil knew the forest well, and they went about 5km inside from the main road before burning the body.
