Venezuela: Grassroots Activists Discuss How to Respond to Election Res

In communities across Venezuela, grassroots activists are discussing how to respond to the massive majority won by the opposition in parliamentary elections over the weekend. President Nicolas Maduro has called for a special meeting of the United Socialist Party on Thursday, but in shantytowns like Las Torres, activists are accustomed to making decisions and are already organizing to push the Revolution forward. Poor neighborhoods have been transformed by housing and health missions and people say they will fight to keep these gains and carry forward the legacy of Hugo Chavez.
