1952 ROY ROGERS DALE EVANS OTR CHRISTMAS SHOW 12/25/52

THE ROY ROGERS SHOW was a fixture on radio schedules for over a decade. First broadcast in 1944 on the Mutual network, the half-hour program show was initially a musical-variety show and starred the "King of the Cowboys" with his singing saddle pals, The Sons of the Pioneers. Eventually, the show settle into an adventure drama that mimicked the popular television version and co-starred his wide, Dale Evans, and sidekick Pat Brady.

This episode, "he Night Before the Night Before Christmas," told the story about a man who is framed for robbery on the night before Christmas Eve when he attempts to buy a doll for his little girl. Roy, Dale and Pat ride into action to prove his innocence.

This program also contains its original Post cereal commercials just as originally broadcast on December 25, 1952.
