These smugglers were stopped from escaping in this dramatic footage which looks like a scene from an action movie.
The gang of five were setting off down a runway when the police arrive and smash into the plane's wing in a dramatic bid to stop it taking off.
The video, captured by one of the Brazilian Federal Police team, sees the officers jumping out of their car and drawing their weapons.
As the officers ran to confront the suspects on board, the driver can be heard shouting to his armed colleague, "I hit the wing, I hit the wing. Do not shoot."
