Radiohead's Thom Yorke took to the streets this weekend as part of the People's Climate Movement March in London, an event organized in solidarity with numerous marches and rallies held across the globe with the common goal of urging policymakers to take the issue of global climate change seriously as the world's leaders convene in France this coming week for the COP21, otherwise known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.
As Rolling Stone reports, the artist DJed atop Greenpeace U.K.'s arctic-themed float alongside an estimated turnout of 50,000 environmental activists that marked through the British capital.
The official goal of the conference as stated on the COP21 website is to "for the first time in over 20 years of UN negotiations, aim to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2°C."
