Mexico: Ayotzinapa Families Set Up Camp Outside Los Pinos
  • 8 years ago
Fourteen months after the forced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students, family members and supporters marched to the gates outside the presidential mansion Los Pinos, where they set up an indefinite sit-in encampment. They plan to stay until the government keeps its promise made one month ago to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to reinvigorate the investigation into the disappearances in conjunction with experts trusted by the family and the team of international investigators that has refuted the Mexican government’s prior theory. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City for teleSUR.
