Argentina: Macri’s Measures Favor Top 1% of Population

According to analysts consulted by teleSUR, Argentina’s return to a neo-liberal, free-market economy bodes ill for the country. His plans to implement a mega-devaluation of the peso and an all-out liberalization of agricultural exports are likely to bring inflation, speculation, price hikes, eroded salaries and pensions, cuts in buying power, rising unemployment and recession. This scenario will give the top 1% of the population more power while shattering the family budgets of millions of working-class families. Leo Pobleti reports from Buenos Aires for teleSUR
