With Russian Aerial Support, Syrian Gov't Recaptures Towns from ISIS

Russian airstrikes are proving to be a valuable asset in the Syrian government's efforts to combat Islamic State (ISIS) forces. The Syrian army, backed by Russian fighter jets, has recaptured strategic towns that connect the center of the country with the capital and the ancient city of Palmyra with the western provinces.
