Drunk man falls asleep while hugging a stray dog in the middle of the road

A funny video has emerged from China of a drunk man falling asleep on a country road while snuggling a stray dog.
The footage, captured on the dashboard camera of a police car in Shanghai on Wednesday, shows the man curled up and lying on the ground with a huge dog resting in his arms.
According to local media, a friend of the man called the police after he disappeared on their way home from a couple of drinks. They searched for over an hour before finally spotting him with his sleeping companion.
He was later taken home in the police car.
