Colombia Peace Talks Moving Forward, With Some Points Still Pending

Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) leader Timochenko's declaration that agreement had been reached with the government on 74 of 75 points concerning the complicated issue of transitional justice, which includes victims' compensation, shows that the peace talks are moving forward. The two sides have reached agreement on political participation, rural development, illegal drugs, and now transitional justice. But 2 of the 6 agenda points still remain to be settled.
