An escape plan was foiled at a detention center in Louisiana after a fake gun made of soap and a handcuff key were recovered during an investigation.

Two inmates at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center in Louisiana allegedly attempted to escape using a fake gun made out of soap. 
Corrections officers at the facility got word that several suspicious items had been stashed somewhere in a cell block. 
Following a search, detectives recovered the offending handcuff key and the object that looked like a handgun.
