Swedish Researchers Have Created Electronic Roses

A team from Linköping University was able to successfully grow electronic circuits within the vascular systems of still-living roses.

Researchers in Sweden have created electronic plants. 
Publishing in the journal Science Advances, the team from Linköping University was able to successfully grow electronic circuits within the vascular systems of still-living roses. 
Specifically, the team outfitted the roses with, "wires, digital logic, and even displays elements - fabricated inside the plants," according to a press release issued by the university.
