Nënkryetari i PD-së, njeheresh kreu i grupit parlamentar te partisë me te madhe te se djathtës, Astrit Patozi apelon për një gare te forte për zgjedhjen e pasardhësit te Sali Berishës. Sipas Patozit, ne mënyrë qe partia Demokratike te fitoje betejat e ardhshme zgjedhore, kryetari i saj i ri duhet te dale nga një gare reale dhe "fair play" dhe te gjithë duhet te pranojnë rezultatin final te anetaresise. Patozi ka shmangur çdo koment mbi emrat qe shihen si pretendente për postin e kryetarit, por nuk ka harruar te shigjetoje ata qe i cilëson "sharlatane" pasi sipas tij PD nuk ka kohe per te humbur. Nënkryetari i demokrateve është nder te paktet figura te se djathtës qe pohon se përgjegjësia e humbjes se zgjedhjeve nuk bie vetëm mbi Sali Berishën, por mbi te gjithë bashkëpunëtoret e tij; dhe për këtë arsye ai ka vendosur te mos marre pjese ne garën për postin e kryetarit.
