Kur na ndajnë vetëm 12 dite nga zgjedhjet e përgjithshme parlamentare, lideri i opozitës Edi Rama ka zgjedhur Tepelenën për te kërkuar votën e qytetareve ne emër te një programi për rilindjen e vendit. Mes entuziazmit te simpatizantëve te se majtës, Rama premtoi se do te sjelle një qeverisje ndryshe për vendin. "Se bashku do bejme te mundura ato gjera qe per 20 vjet i jane bere te pamundura këtij populli ... Do hapim vende pune, do ulim taksat..."- tha Rama. Nga Tepelena, pjese e qarkut te Gjirokastrës, qe zgjedh 5 deputete ne kuvendin e Shqipërisë, Rama iu kërkoi qytetareve te ndëshkojnë me vote neglizhencën e qeverise ne gjithë këto vite.
