Meningjiti është shkaktari i vdekjes se 21 vjeçares Blerina Balla nga Librazhdi. Pas verifikimit te kartelës se saj mjekësore, mjeket infeksioniste dyshojnë se vajza është prekur nga bakteri i meningokokut, qe është ngjitës dhe vdekjeprurës. Megjithatë, ata hedhin poshtë mundësinë e përhapjes se ndonjë epidemie ne qytet, duke këmbëngulur se rastet nuk kane ngjashmëri patologjike me njeri-tjetrin. Por hetimet mjekësore për vdekjet ne Librazhd vijojnë me analizat ne Institutin e Shëndetit Publik. Motër e vëlla, Flutura e Fatos Allkaj kane dale tashme nga spitali.
