Përtej paralajmërimeve te institucioneve ndërkombëtare se Shqipëria duhet te ule me tej borxhin publik, qeveria edhe për vitin 2012 do ta mbaje atë ne nivelin e 60% te Prodhimit te Brendshëm Bruto.
Por kjo situate mbetet me risqe ne rritje, për shkak se mbledhja e te ardhurave është ne ngërç, çka do te detyroje Ministrinë te rishikoje serish buxhetin. Por nga ana tjetër, kriza ne eurozone ka bere qe te rritet norma e interesit te eurobondit qe qeveria emetoi një vite me pare. Pavarësisht kësaj situate, për krerët e financave, borxhi shqiptar ka rritjen me te ulet ne vendet e rajonit. Por opozita akuzoi mazhorancen se nuk po zbaton atë skenar qe ajo vete parashikoi një vit me pare, atë te riskedulimit te borxhit, me tendence uljen e tij vit pas viti. Duke debatuar ne komisioni e ekonomisë mbi shpenzimet publike gjate 2012, përfaqësues te Ministrisë se Financave thane se është parashikuar një fond prej 500 milion lekesh për godinën e parlamenti te ri. Ndërkohë, opozita ngre shqetësimin se mazhoranca po përdor dy standarde ndaj dekreteve te presidentit te republikës. E ndërsa ai për kreun e KLSH nuk u miratua, pasi kreu i shtetit nuk ishte konsultuar me kuvendin, dekreti për guvernatorin e Bankës se Shqipërisë u miratua vetëm me votat e mazhorances, e cila nuk dha shpjegime mbi procedurën qe ishte ndjekur për konsultimin mes dy institucioneve.
