Airline Apologizes For Losing Bombing Victim’s Bag With Prosthetic Leg

Professional dancer and Boston marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis had been lobbying American Airlines on Twitter to find her lost luggage with $250,000 of leg and dance equipment and recently tweeted that they have, in fact, located the bag.

Getting checked luggage lost by an airline is an inconvenience for most, but for one passenger, it means going without a very expensive piece of equipment that helps her function. 

Adrianne Haslet-Davis, who lost a leg during the Boston Marathon bombing, tweeted to American Airlines on Thursday that they misplaced her luggage containing more than $250,000 of leg and dance parts.
