U.S. Responds to Venezuelan Spying Accusations

The fallout continues from teleSUR and Intercept's report on U.S. intelligence gathering operations directed against the Venezuelan state owned oil company PDVSA. In response to an official complaint lodged by the Venezuelan government with the U.S. Embassy in Caracas, Washington denied that it seeks to destabilize Venezuela and said the espionage charges would be dealt with privately through diplomatic channels. teleSUR
