Egyptian and Islamic State media outlets published photos online that identified a young Palestinian man from the Gaza Strip as one of the attackers in the Paris bombings that caused the death of 130 people last Friday. The young journalism student Sami Abu Rus, a resident of al-Nuseirat refugee camp, has condemned the Paris attacks. He said he has never left the Gaza Strip and was shocked, scared and bewildered when friends notified him of this false identification. “I thought journalism was the job of telling the truth, not making false accusations,” he said.
