English Town Uses Bagpipes To Deter Homeless From Sleeping At Bus Station

An English town has begun playing bagpipe music at one of its bus stations to encourage the dozen-or-so homeless people to move elsewhere.

In recent times, the English town of Bournemouth, Dorset has had numerous complaints about homeless people congregating at a particular bus station.
Reports include a number of allegedly alcohol-fueled situations, including intimidating and harassing both passersby and transit workers.
As a means of encouraging the dozen-or-so people who sleep in the building’s restrooms to move along, the town has begun playing bagpipe music there.
The tunes start blasting through the speakers at midnight and play on until 6:30 in the morning.
