Colombia: Campesino Leader Killed by Paramilitaries

Popular campesino leader Daniel Abril was killed Friday, reportedly by paramilitaries. Abril was a leader of the Peoples' Congress and a prominent opponent of mining and oil drilling projects in the state of Casanare.
