Box Of World War II-Era Photos And Love Letters Finds Its Way Home

A box full of documents detailing the life of a World War II veteran was recently returned to his family after sitting in an attic for years.

A box of documents detailing the life of Armando Custodio, a World War II veteran, lay languishing in an attic for years and years.
Until recently.
A concerned citizen found the trunk containing love letters to Custodio's wife, photographs, a ration book, naturalization papers and more—and turned it over to the Laurel Police Department in Maryland on November 9th.
The documents offer a glimpse into the life of a man who served aboard the yachts of both World War II-era presidents.
But the former Navy sailor wasn't all
