Cultura Latina – Street Art Under Attack in Lima

Today our host Mauricio Izquierdo takes us first to Lima, where street artists are losing spaces and beautiful murals because they interfere with the political designs of the Mayor of the city, who has ordered their removal. Then it’s on to the recently inaugurated Foro Museum in a working-class area of Mexico City, where photography exhibits, workshops, conferences and events promote reflection and action on issues such as violence and social change. We end up in Bolivia for a taste of llama, which experts say is healthier than beef and processed meats for its low-fat content. teleSUR
