David Hasselhoff recently announced a name change to social media.

Say goodbye to David Hasselhoff and hello to David Hoff. 
Long known simply by his nickname, "The Hoff," the Baywatch and Knight Rider star just changed his last name. 
At least it appears that way.
The actor recently posted a very short clip announcing his decision to social media.
In the clip, Hoff holds up a framed copy of a "Certificate of Name Change." 
He notes, "...I have made it official. David Hoff."
