Konshens’ real name is Garfield Spence and we could say that this young artist is one of the most interesting of the new generation of Jamaican singers. Singles such as “Pon di corner” (together with Delus, his brother), “Gal dem a talk”, “Forward” and the superb combination with Tarrus Riley in “Good girl gone bad” are a proof of the variety of tones which characterizes his voice. In 2010, Konshens made for the Japanese market the CD “Reak talk”, and a new work is to follow soon.
