That brief and terrible time in our country when "Netflix and chill" was imperiled and people momentarily lost their chill is over.
The Netflix website is back up.
The movies and TV shows never stopped working, so maybe this was just the mischievous soul of the Internet reminding us of our dependency on the streaming service.
When the Netflix website went down on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. ET, millions of people were sent into a panic, right when they were fresh home from work and ready for some television comfort food.
