Benedict Cumberbatch gets his CBE from the queen

Benedict Cumberbatch, a man who looks totally natty in a morning suit, got to show off his style Tuesday when he went to Buckingham Palace to be honored by Queen Elizabeth II for services to the performing arts and to charity.
Bowing before the monarch, the 39-year-old actor got his Commander of the British Empire award in the traditional ceremony wearing the traditional outfit for men: white tie, coat with tails, striped trousers and waistcoat.
And afterwards, he followed the tradition of joshing with and posing for the media holding his turquoise cross-shaped medal on a ribbon, with his arm around his wife, Sophie Hunter.
The Sherlock star, nominated for an Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of computer scientist Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, told reporters afterward that the experience was "quite nerve-wracking," according to The Associated Press.
