French doctors bring hope to wounded Syrian children

Since the beginning of the civil war, around four million Syrians have been forced to flee their homes to Europe, Lebanon, and Jordan. The huge Zaatari refugee camp in the north of Jordan takes in dozens of families every day.
Among the Syrian refugees are thousands of children, who sometimes desperately need surgery for the devastating injuries they have sustained in the conflict. The French NGO La Chaîne de l'Espoir ("Chain of Hope") is treating many of these children and performing complex prosthetic surgery.
Watch our report from the Jordanian capital of Amman, followed by an interview with our guest Doctor Thibault Lafosse, one of the French volunteer surgeons.
