Noisy Chris Christie kicked out of Amtrak quiet car for yelling loudly and making phone calls

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Seems like New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had a slight mishap while traveling back to New York from Washington on Sunday.

At 9:55 a.m., Christie reportedly boarded the Amtrak quiet car and was heard yelling at his two security guards, Alexander Mann, a fellow passenger, said to Gawker. The quiet car is where noise is supposed to be kept at a minimum with no phone calls allowed.

He then sat down, drank from his strawberry smoothie, and made a phone call. About 10 minutes later, complaints were made, and the governor was told by the conductor to either stop or leave, said Mann.

According to Mann, Christie was in an intense phone call with someone and could be heard yelling, "This is frickin' ridiculous" and "Seriously?! Seriously?!" repeatedly.

Some reports say Christie had mistakenly gotten into the quiet car, and when he realized went to the cafe carriage while continuing to yell at his security guards.

However, Katie Klabusich, another passenger who was sitting across from the Republican Presidential candidate said she witnessed something different.

She said Christie was embarrassed to have been called out on his rudeness, and immediately hung up the phone to quietly exit the car.

"Did he appear annoyed? Sure. Apparently having a shit logistics day & someone fucked up. Was he screaming, causing a scene? Hardly," Klabusich tweeted later on Sunday.
