SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — A disgruntled student, unhappy about being reprimanded over a T-shirt, has been arrested after firing a gun at a high school principal's parked car on Thursday morning.

Witnesses to the shooting say that the shooter pulled up into the parking lot of Wagner High School in San Antonio, Texas at around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The man then got out of his car and began hitting the principal's car with a baseball bat before pulling out a gun and firing several times at the car before driving away. Fox29 reports that one student witnessed the shooting from the parking lot while a classroom full of witnessed it from inside the building.

A couple hours after the shooting and after the school's lockdown had been lifted, the shooter called school officials at around 11:50 a.m. and threatened to shoot at the school later that day. His threat prompted officials to place the school on lockdown once again.

According to local news station KSAT, the shooting suspect was later found at a nearby neighborhood and taken into custody without incident.
