Florida woman live streams herself drunk-driving on Periscope

LAKELAND, FLORIDA — A Florida woman broadcasted herself drunk-driving on Periscope, a live video streaming app, on Saturday.
In the video the driver, identified as Whitney Beall, told her audience multiple times that she was "drunk," had a flat tire and had no idea where she was.
Local CBS affiliate WTSP reported that several Periscope users called Lakeland, Florida police to report her behaviour but could not provide her exact location. So one quick-thinking officer downloaded the app to figure out where she was based on nearby landmarks.
"They're like what's Periscope. Luckily, one of our younger officers was able to figure it out," Lakeland Police spokesman Sergeant Gary Gross told WTSP.
Officers found her on Carpenters Way and saw her hit the curb just as they initiated a traffic stop. Beall failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and refused to take a breathalyzer test. She was arrested and charged with DUI.
