Palestine: Demonstration Marks Anniversary of Balfour Declaration

A mass demonstration was held in the Gaza Strip to mark the 98th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, in which Great Britain promised Palestine -then a British colony- as a "Jewish national home". In other developments, Israeli soldiers closed a Palestinian radio station in the West Bank, claiming it engaged in incitement, while its journalists said it was shut down for telling the truth about the recent killing of Palestinians by Israeli security forces.
