Spanish media are reporting that Lionel Messi will miss this month's Clasico meeting with Real Madrid, as his recovery from a knee injury takes longer than anticipated.
Messi was initially ruled out for around eight weeks after suffering ligament damage in the league victory over Las Palmas at the end of September - a prognosis that theoretically meant he would return to full fitness just in time for the Clasico encounter with Real Madrid on November 21.
However, after being ruled out of Argentina's games with Brazil and Colombia in the ten days preceding that Bernabeu clash, it now appears certain Messi will not be available to Luis Enrique for the crucial title clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
