Each year the Oregon Zoo hosts 'Squishing of the Squash,' an event involving large land animals.
The name is more or less self-explanatory and this year was no different.
On the morning of Friday, October 30th, Lily the elephant and her family crushed, mashed and chewed on two giant pumpkins; the largest of which weighed about 1,100 pounds.
The baby of the family even rolled around in the pumpkin puree for a bit.
But it wasn't just a demolition derby of pumpkin-like proportions—the elephants also ate some of the insides.
