Honduras: Journalists Protest Closure of “Tiempo” and Demand Rights

Honduran journalists continue to protest the closure of the “Tiempo” newspaper after the seizure of the property of the Continental Group due to U.S. charges of laundering drug money. They lambasted the subservience of Honduras to the United States government and the elimination of Tiempo’s critical perspective on national and international events. Human rights organizations are supporting journalists and other employees who have yet to be paid and continue to demand their rights as workers. Gerardo Torres reports for teleSUR.
