Venezuela:Maduro Expects Positive Results from Colombia Border Talks

President Nicolas Maduro says that excellent progress has been made in talks with Colombia on border problems. In August, Maduro closed much of the border in an effort to stop paramilitary violence and the smuggling of subsidized goods out of Venezuela. Maduro said that there is good communication with President Juan Manuel Santos and that he expects to normalize the situation on the border very soon and, within two or three years, achieve important structural changes. teleSUR
