Thousands of new refugees arrived on the Austrian-Slovenian border near Spielfeld, Austria, on Thursday, October 29, after 4,000 asylum-seekers were held up at the crossing the previous night as temperatures dropped near freezing. Bus services resumed in the morning bringing people to centres in Austria and to the German border.
