Snow storms hit Minnesota earlier than usual

It's "already snowing in Minneapolis."

Footage has emerged from Minnesota, US of snow falling in October, earlier than usual.

Temperatures dropped on Tuesday and the first snows of the season fell later that day and on Wednesday.

Snow can fall in October in Minnesota but it doesn't usually start until November.
