How do Palestinians in East Jerusalem view current wave of violence?
In this edition we look at the latest outbreak of violence in the Middle East. A wave of knife and gun attacks has left at least nine Israelis and around 50 Palestinians dead. Of the Palestinians who were killed, nearly half carried out the alleged attacks, while the others were killed in separate clashes with Israeli security forces.
Most of the attacks on Israelis appear to have been carried out by "lone wolves", mostly young men with no links to traditional Palestinian militant or political groups. According to Israel, many of the attackers came from Jerusalem’s Arab-majority east. Our reporters went to find out what life is like for people living there.
