Clashes erupted in the Gohana area of Sonipat, Haryana following the death of a 15-year old boy. The family of the teenager has alleged that the boy was a victim of Police brutality and died in Police custody after he was taken in for pigeon theft. Highways were blocked following this unrest. The Haryana state Police has denied its role in the boy's death.
