Haiti: Martelly Promises Violence-Free Presidential Elections

In Haitian presidential elections to be held on Sunday, incumbent President Michele Martelly, who is not eligible to run, is throwing his support behind his party’s candidate Jovenel Moïse. Martelly promises there will be a high participation rate and no violence. He says that Moise will continue with his policies of promoting development and a stronger economy.
