Regional, Local Elections in Colombia Slated for Sunday

Colombians will vote Sunday for governors of the country's 32 states, mayors of state capitals and other cities, and local municipal, city, and town councils. The peace process looms high in the campaign. Those elected will have the responsibility of implementing the accords thus far reached as well as the final peace settlement. The election campaigns, however, have been marred by paramilitary threats and repression against left-wing candidates. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota. teleSUR
