Morales Blasts Chile for Lack of Arguments in Sea Access Dispute

Bolivian President Evo Morales blasted Chile for its lack of arguments to deny Bolivia access to the sea. In September, the International Court of Justice in The Hague ruled that it had jurisdiction to resolve the dispute between the two countries. Morales charged that Chile had attempted to blackmail, threaten, and pressure other Latin American countries such as Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, and Venezuela not to back landlocked Bolivia's historical claim to maritime access. teleSUR
