Diyar-e-Dil (Urdu: دیار دل‎ ; lit. The Valley of Heart)[2] (also known as "Dayar-e-Dil") is a 2015 Pakistani romantic drama serial, that premiered on Hum TV on March 17, 2015.[3] It is based on the novel of same name by Farhat Ishtiaq. The series is directed by Haseeb Hassan and produced by Momina Duraid.[4]

Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali stars as a grandchildren's of Abid Ali who, with his grandchildren's tries to reunite the family that fall apart long-ago with his egoistic decisions. With the first few episodes narrated by Osman, it concludes a moral lessons regarding respect, love and care in relationships. The series features an ensemble cast with Osman as Wali, Maya as Faarah,[5] Sanam Saeed, Hareem Farooq,[6] Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ali Rehman Khan as their parents,[7] and Abid Ali in titular character of Bakhtiyar Khan as their Agha Jaan.[8] Series took a Twenty year leap on its seventh episode on May 5, 2015.

The series airs on Hum TV as part of a night of programming all under Duraid's MD production company. The show is set in Skardo, Gilgit–Baltistan and depicts the culture of society. Diyar-e-Dil premiered in Pakistan, UK, USA and UAE on March 17, 2015, with prime slot of Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. PST, GMT, PT/ET and UAE Standard Time, receptively.[9]

Plot overview
The story revolves around Agha Jan's Family. It shows how his grandchildren, Faarah and Wali fall in love and reunite his family facing hurdles. Agha Jan's elder son, Behroze was engaged to his niece Arjumand since childhood but he wanted to marry Ruhina so he left facing Agha Jan's anger. For family's respect, Agha Jan announced that Arjumad would marry his younger son Suhaib. Both got married reluctantly, while Behroze marries Ruhina. Later, birth of their children, bought couples more close. Twenty Years pass, Suhaib still wants Behroze to return but Behroze hates him. Suhaib's death lead Behroze to reach Agha Jan's Mansion, he successfully married Faarah to Wali facing Ruhina and Faarah's reluctance. After his death, the family faced more distances as Ruhina accused Agha Jan for it. Due to current conditions Faarah and Wali start hating each other. Faarah is confused to trust between Mother and Agha Jan. However Agha Jan's health brings her close to Wali each time, resulting to a soft corner.
