Man sent plunging into canyon water after rope breaks

Dramatic first-person footage has emerged of a man being rescued after breaking his ankle while canyoneering.

The video, captured at Monmouth Canyon, Canada, shows the rescue crew helping to airlift the man onto safe ground and then into an ambulance.

According to the filmer, the injury was caused when he slipped while rappelling down a mountain, falling 15 feet onto the rocks below.
