Bolivia: People’s Climate Change Conference Calls for Sweeping Changes

Festivities marked the end of the 2nd World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Defense of Life in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The conclusions will be taken to the United Nations Climate Change Conference to be held in Paris at the end of November. They call for a radical shift in thinking to reverse the negative effects of pollution, carbon emissions and other activities that are harmful to the environment. The Conference called for a new model of civilization with less consumption and without capitalism, a model that promotes the harmony of the world’s peoples with nature. teleSUR
