Woolly Mammoth Remains Unearthed in Michigan

Paleontologists spend much of their time digging in the dirt, which can be a tough and thankless job. However, every once in a while, they stumble upon something really amazing that puts smiles on their faces and even gets them into the news. The University of Michigan released footage showing a team of paleontologists and excavators exhuming the remains of a woolly mammoth from underneath a soybean field in the Lima Township, near Ann Arbor.
